As you read through Wholly Unmanageable you are thrown into a world of chaos. The author Angela Chase moves us through her chaotic life of addiction and bad decisions. The beginning is a bit rough as the reader is thrown, shocked about her life and decisions, once you settle into the chaos the books flows through and even pace uncovering the life of someone deemed a lost cause by society. What follows is truly a book about humanity, reorienting the readers' views and opinions of addicts. We all make mistakes, it's easy to fall off into the life Chase weaves for us, we just don't want to admit it to ourselves. I recommend this read as a way to dispell the notion of how media and society depicts addicts and recovering
